CCPC July Membership Meeting: No on August 8 and Other Issues. Thursday, July 20 @ 6:30 pm. Agenda items Include 1) No on August 8 GOTV: Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Chair Dave Brock will be joining us to explain what you can do to help Get Out The Vote to make sure that State Issue 1 is soundly defeated on August 8. 2) Nationwide UPS Strike: Teamsters Local 407 Secretary – Treasurer Paul Wojnar will be joining us for an update on negotiations, strike preparation and what we can do to help our local Teamsters brothers and sisters if a strike should occur. Their contract expires on July 31 and a strike authorization vote has already been taken. 3) Internet Access in Low – Income Communities. CWA Local 4302 President Joe Snyder will be joining us to talk about CWA’s initiative in this area. Please click here to register for the event.
