Agenda items Include 1) No on August 8 GOTV: Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Chair Dave Brock will be joining us to explain what you can do to help Get Out The Vote to make sure that State Issue 1 is soundly defeated on August 8. 2) Nationwide UPS Strike: Teamsters Local 407 Secretary – Treasurer Paul Wojnar will be joining us for an update on negotiations, strike preparation and what we can do to help our local Teamsters brothers and sisters if a strike should occur. Their contract expires on July 31 and a strike authorization vote has already been taken. 3) Internet Access in Low – Income Communities. CWA Local 4302 President Joe Snyder will be joining us to talk about CWA’s initiative in this area. Please click here to register for the event. The frackers are starting to circle our state parks and public lands, looking to loot and pollute. The process of proposing the fracking of selected state parks and nature preserves has begun.
