CCPC Ohio General Assembly Endorsement Vote

Four Ohio General Assembly candidates are seeking CCPC’s endorsement this year. They are Kent Smith ( Senate District 21 ), Nickie Antonio ( Senate District 23 ), Mike Skindell ( House District 13 ) and Mike Seals ( House District 20 ). All CCPC endorsements are determined by a vote of our membership with a 2/3 threshold required for an endorsement to occur. In races  where only one candidate is seeking the CCPC endorsement, membership still votes to approve or disapprove the endorsement. Please click the link’s below to cast your ballot. Included in each link is a link to the CCPC Endorsement Application and Questionnaire that each candidate filled out. All ballots must be cast by the end of the day on Sunday, June 19 to be included in the final vote tally.

Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Chair Election

Immigration Court Monitors Needed 

Immigration Working Group Cle is looking for volunteer Court Monitors to observe and record proceedings in the Immigration Court in Cleveland. We plan to use the information to update the initial report that was released in 2020, The Cleveland Immigration Court is located in the Federal Courthouse at 801 W. Superior Avenue, Suite 1300 in Cleveland. The

ask is that you commit at least one morning or afternoon every couple of weeks when the project resumes, hopefully by the end of June. Within the next few weeks we will provide training for new volunteers as well as a refresher course for previous volunteers. We will give you everything you will need to monitor the court and continue to work with you after the training. Please fill out this google form to get on the list for the upcoming training.
