Steve is a retired history teacher turned activist. While teaching he served on the Executive Council of the Ohio Federation of Teachers and was the Political Director of the Berea Federation of Teachers. He has worked on both Obama presidential campaigns (08′ & 12′) as well as numerous other political campaigns and activist causes. In 2014 and 2018 he ran for State Representative, losing narrowly in both primaries. In 2016 he was a Cuyahoga County Field Organizer for the Bernie Sanders campaign, out of which CCPC was formed. He has served as CCPC’s Political Director since its founding in 2016.  Steve holds a BA in Education from Baldwin Wallace University and a MA in History from Cleveland State University.
