Governor Mike DeWine has released his proposed 2019 State Budget. Some of it is not bad. Some of it is not good. The General Assembly will first offer amendment’s in the House and then in the Senate before a reconciliation of the two bills each body comes up with occurs in June. Committee Hearings have already begun in the House. NOBLE (Northern Ohioans for Budget Legislation Equality) is sending it’s experts to the April CCPC Regional Membership Meetings to let you know the latest news on what is actually in the budget bill, how the budget process works and what you can do to help make this budget as progressive as it can possibly be. Information on how you can attend this years NOBLE Lobby Day in early May in Columbus will also be presented.
